I learned how to build it from mp3car.com. If you can build a desktop, this is the same. I see the only "hard" part is making it look nice & oem inside...

Frodo is completely free! Another very good front end is Road Runner (also free!), I am working on that right now, fully customizing the buttons/layout...

Thanks for all the compliments! I'm hoping this would get more people into carputers ...modifications/functionality is pretty much endless depending on your hardware setup...

Looks good. I'm running almost the same thing in my RX300 with Road Runner. How are you getting your audio into your amp? I just tapped into my wires at the cd changer and it works great on my Ipod but when I plug into the PC it doesn't sound too good. It's the unbalanced to balanced problem. I'm looking for a isolation box now to fix that.
