I currently have (2) pair of MB Quart Q-line components that are 90-170w handling power. I am also planning on pruchasing some (2) JL 12w3v3 that handle 300rms each.

The amps I am looking at are the JL 300/4 and the JL 500/1. Will this be enough to power the subs and amp at an optimum range? I want a very clean sounding system, all about sound qaulity and not loudness/distoration.

 

Go for it-- those are clean amps and I think the Q series MB's are their older high end--

There's no reason that won't be nice-- Lex's are quiet inside too which really helps overhead, so it should be surprisingly loud--
