A guy on ebay has a store called trucktunes -- He sells Tiff cables that are great for very good prices-- also some high quality esoteric speaker cable for very good prices-- it's flat with a really tough pvc jacket-- very hard to break-- his streetwires stuff is good too--

This guy responds quickly and ships lightning fast-- good stuff for very cheap-- I don't know how he does it honestly-- Must be all overstock stuff-- Or old buyouts --

I've never had luck with 10 ft cables reaching far enough-- 16ft is a safer bet- maybe 13ft will work though???

Nice Phoenix Gold 13ft interconnects for $14 -- good quality here

These are Streetwires Musica 16ft cables-- $10 -- these would do the job just fine too--

16ga spkr wire only sees a .2v drop over 15~ ft-- or about .4db --

I'd rather run 14ga, but 12??? That's what pro sound runs for 2000w subs--

i decided to go with the kicker si45 4 channel cables from the trucktunes. originally i was gonna buy two 2 channel cables, but i got the four channel one for $50, very reasonable. and ive heard good things about kicker so hopefully it'll work out.

My only poin was that shielded copper wire is just that-- no matter what brand it is-- and you don't have to spend more than $15 to get a great cable-

The phoenix gold cable is more than good enough--

BUT-- those will work and you'll be able to brag about them-- !!!

Well-- You did both cables for $50 right??

I would've taken the Phoenix golds first-- but -- I really hope you measured and got them long enough--

IF NOT-- the guy is very cool and will most likely trade you--

There's just a certain point of expendature that reaches greatly diminishing returns--

It's okay to spend a little on good wires-- I personally would never spend more than $10 each myself-- The tiff's are shielded and very good quality-- as are the streetwires--

For a daily listener not concerned with having the most expensive everything, properly ran cheapo's will work-- BUT-- better is better--

You just won't ever hear a difference b/t the $10 cable and the $50 cable that's all--

The length is the biggest thing I'm worried about--

If $50 doesn't bother you no harm done-- I'm just broke as heck and live on a VERY tight budget--

I just had to build a nice set of MTM monitors out of imaginary materials I'm so broke -- They do sound nice though--

the cable itself is for 4 channels, which is all i need. so i just bought 1 cable. i got a 16.5 ft cable and im only running it from the gps headunit in the dash to under hte front seat. the route im gonna take is down the radio--> under the shifter, under the passenger side carpet (where the pass seat belt locks into place), to underneath the seat.

and speaking of fast, i ordered it today and just checked my email. already shipped and on a sunday! thanks for the heads up, mjhsc

That dude rocks my man!!--

I would think a 10ft cable would work there-- BUT- the cable should be good enough quality that you'll never need another one, and you can reuse it in any future installs-- It better be!
