What alignment? Sealed box? Ported? IB? You need to know how you are going to use the sub before you start to pick one out.

If the Vas in liters or cubic feet? What's the xmax?

Based on the specs, I'd say it is a pretty good 12" sub for an IB install. That is if the xmax is decent (15 to 18mm). The Qts is too high for my tastes to install it in a sealed box. The Qtc of the system would be well over 1.0.

Its actually a 12" hole..You could fit a free air 12" with an aftermarket amp and it would sound good..These cars are hard to get "good " bass into unless you are willing to do some work..I have been down every path with this car in regards to systems..

The subs are the MB Quart RWC 12inch. I was hoping Robert J posted on here as i fine his post very informitive...(you too 88 )

Im not trying to break the bank or have the whole city hear me comming. I just want nice clean sound..I came to cope with the fact that in getting out of the "mines the loudest" to killer sound...inside the car...nice crisp clear clean sound is all i want now.....with hella damping on the floor(im taking the seats out) trunk and doors.

Thanks. I'm nothing special. Just an average guy that likes good sound system. I've just been tinking with building speakers and subs since 1985.

I'm not familiar with those subs but I am familiar with the MB Quart name and reputation. If I didn't have a thing for American built subs, I wouldn't hesitate to get MB Quart products.

The majority of my subs in the last few years have come from four build houses. Eminence (Adire Audio & Dayton by Parts Express), Destijl Engineering (Resonant Engineering, Ascendant Audio & Blueprint), TC Sounds (Stryke Audio, Soundsplinter, Elemental Designs & Eclipse) & NCA Labs (Dayton by Parts Express). I like to use subs that have published specs that have been verified by third parties. Even better are the ones that have the support from the manufacturer like Soundsplinter or TC Sounds.
