Default Two Reference 10's or One P3?

A buddy of mine works at best buy and can get me one 10" rockford punch p3 w/ box for 130 or two 10" infinity reference's w/ box for the same price. Specs are:

Infinity
Handles up to 1000W peak power (250W RMS)

Punch P3
Capable of handling 800 watts (400RMS)

Will two infinity's pound harder than one rockford? My buddy had two 12" p3's and they sounded amazing. I regularly wouldn't buy anything from best buy but im not looking to rattle anyone's teeth out. Just a little more bass at a budget.

don't look at Peak when you're considering woofers.

Do a P3 in a ported box with enough power and you'll be happy with the boom you get

How much wattage is your amp?
What type of bass are your looking for? For SQ I will go with the 2 Infinitys in a sealed. For more of a deeper harder bass I agree with 88supramki with the ported P3.

I actually changed my mind, I picked up my sealed box through my friend from BB. Im gonna order two audiobahn 10's with 450watt rms each. Then do I need a two channel amp no bigger than 900 watt?

Well, I did my research, listened to alot of subs and went with two 10" polk db's for 120 off Cardomain. Combined the subs come out to 540 watt rms. Can anyone recommend a good amp that I should use with this setup?
