i just came home with a 2000 GS4, and was only given one key.. i've got a new one coming (part of the deal), but i just can't get off my mind that someone else has the ability to start my car. i used this post for instructions, but cannot find another thread by someone else to verify that this is the correct sequence:

now before you say timing's everything, i easily erased the other fobs that unlock my doors by using the instructions for the keyless entry part. took me a few times to get it, but i eventually did. now for the life of me, i can't seem to get the security light to flash when i have gone through the emotions with those instructions. and yes i'm using an actual MASTER (or i'm pretty sure it is one, unless the remote-style key is somehow programmed as a valet?)

would someone be able to pull up some step-by-step instructions on doing this? like if the door supposed to be opened, or how about a step like "enter car" like the keyless entry one had.
