I am looking for a remote starter for IS350, I went to 5 different places in my area (Chicago) to see if anyone can install one and no one knows how to and they don’t have any info on it. Does anybody have any info on the install like what bypass to use and wiring.

 

In order to install a remote start in your car, it's going to require you to either leave the transponder part of your key in your car, or put a transponder copier, which copies the digital electronic signature from your transponder into your car. The thing is, when you do this, that means your key, even if it's a transponder copier, will always be in your car and anyone can start your car even though you're not there. As long as they can bypass the alarm without setting it off, they will be able to start the car. Right now it's not safe to put a remote start unless it's the one from Toyota Japan or Lexus Japan because it's OEM.
