sc300 stock sub location

anybody know what aftermarket size sub would fit in the stock sc sub location? what is a good brand that wont rattle in the back? also, i have after market speakers in the back location, but feel a little rattle, what can i do to stop the rattle?

dynamat to stop the rattle.

i believe it's a 10 but don't quote me

i have seen pictures of this being done but cant find them. so all you do is just place the dynamat around the back speakers?

The sub is either an 8" or a 10". Depends upon the year of the car and ............. pot luck. Very few speakers are drop in replacements though. Plus, you'll need a free-air sub. Most of us that have upgraded the sub built a custom baffle to raise the new sub up a bit to clear the gas tank and widened the opeing to allow the cage to fit.

As for your other rear speakers......More than likely they are missing or have loose mounting screws.

my sc is a 92 and already have aftermarket rear speakers, but dont know what size sub is a good drop in replacement.

Depends upon your needs. If you are staying with a drop-in, and want more bass....then definately a 10inch.

what sub would be a good dorop in replacement and provide good clean bass.what amps do you suggest too
