I just purchased a 2000 gs 300 last night. I find that although the speakers are ok the Sub needs to be upgraded. I have two questions regarding the system

1. Will the radios amp burn out if I replace the factory sub with a 200 watt pioneer sub?

2. How can I play my IPOD with the system.

 

1) no.
2) no easy way other than to do the RF route.

Best bet is to swap out the deck and do the whole conversion. Good luck and search on here for other stereo mods that have been done. (there have been a lot)
