Hello, I do not know anything about the cables and amplifiers that fits the sub woofer in my GS300 2006
can anyone give me an insight on what I need? I am keeping everything stock and just want to upgrade my sub woofers.
I went to the car audio shop and they are charging me a grand I feel like that is a bit too much...
If anyone is located in LA California I can pay for labor if they can help me..

Are you wanting to add a sub in an enclosure, or simply swap out the existing OEM woofer for another? Far more options if you go the "sub-in-an-enclosure" route. You can get a quality sub and a great amp along with the proper installation hardware for about $500. How handy are you with a saw?

I have a brand new JL Audio 12W6v3-DA sub and a Ground Shaker deep sealed box for sale if you are interested. I think I might size down to a 10 for my RX350. Btw, I'm located in Los Angeles.

Sure, though I would compare the sound with the original factory sub installed vs removed from the vehicle.
