tech question

Does anybody have any idea's on where would be the best spot to pop a hole for some 2ga wire from the engine compartment to the inside of the vehicle? I'm sure i can do it, i just want to know if anyone else has done it already. thanks

I have tried to do that with 1ga wire and ended up running it under the car. I would not touch an LS or GS firewall.
