SC300 OEM Alarm Problem
Hi,
I tried doing a search but I couldn't find anything on it.
Basically, my factory alarm has been going off for unknown reasons in the past few days. Two nights ago, it went off almost every 5 mins until i just kept the car unlocked for the night. Last night, nothing happened until 6 30 in the morning. I don't think someone is tampering with the alarm b/c it happened/ is happening in different locations.
I had the alternator switched over a month ago, and the battery was checked then too. Something could have happened over the month, but I'm temporarily ruling it out.
Anyone have any ideas? Should i be checking for loose connections somewhere?

Is it worth keeping the stock alarm or getting an aftermarket alarm? I need to buy a new master key and get it programmed if I want to keep using the stock alarm but for the same price, you can get an aftermarket unit with more features.....though I like the idea of keeping the stock setup as it requires no real install and it's already integrated with everything...
