Default Car alarm

I'm wondering what the best car alarm for the gen 2 gs300 is, anybody bought something aftermarket, the viper for instance?

sorry to interrupt, but are you overriding the stock alarm? and if so how as I just have a valet and don't have a master key and would like to go the after market route.

iunno if this was directed at me, but there are multiple options when wiring an alarm.

i don't remember the install completely since it was a couple years ago, but i believe the factory alarm on this car cannot be disabled; something about keysense.

there are many transponder bypasses such as tbxkey (tried and true), pkall (troublesome), dball (favored)
but the stock alarm will still be functional. however if you click the OEM while the DEI was armed and/or vice versa you are liable to fry the bypass unit.

luckily this car has a trunk pin and hood pin factory so you don't hafta worry about that too much.

hope this helps.
