i just bought 2 sets for the front and back ...........how do ya think they'll sound with the factory tweeters .........oh by the way the tweeters are the stock tweeters on a 97 es300

I would disconnect the stock tweeters because you do not really want two different set of tweeters playing at the same time. It can make your sound system worse.

Just remember, no matter what anyone says here, in the end, if you like them, then thats all that matters. You can have 10000 people saying your speakers aren't good, but if you like it, then all of the sudden, those 10000 people means nothing

if i kept the tweeters wouldnt that make my set up 3 way ?

Not when they play the same frequencies.
3-ways usually consist of a tweeters, mids and mid-bass speakers.

I would disconnect the tweeters also btw.

do you think i'll get better sound than the factory set up ...........cause the speakers themselves are pretty much down by your feet ...

Depends. My tweeters are usually placed down on the floor and I get high staging. Then again, they are mounted on-axis.

There are frequencies that are the staging frequencies, as in, some freq will make your sound stage higher or lower. You get to the point where high frequencies are non-directional.

All depends on the tweets.....

You might end up with the high end to bright and you'll need earplugs on high volumes.

I'd say disconnect them and soundstage the Fosgates. If you feel that you need more crispness, reconnect and see if you like. Make sure to crank it up like you would while driving.....

can anyone suggest some subs .............i have a hook up with some fosgate hx2 the older models but i heard the latest autobahn really kick *** they even beat jl and kicker if im looking for some 10 inch subs so if you have any ideas leeme know

not too hard to beat kicker subs, but audiobahns just aren't that good IMHO.
