Navigation: DVD Update
I moved the slider to the "Open" position & the door to the DVD opened, but nothing further happened. I tried it with ignition on & off. I felt around all sides of the unit for an eject button, but found none. I even checked the manual ... no luck there either.

Canada is there. A missing exit on the Ohio Turnpike is now shown. Most, but not all of erroneous local POI' s have been corrected.
My Parts Manager says that the price is $499.00. I got it free due to negotiations at the time I bought the car.
1. Start your car, or you can just turn the Ignition key to the "On" position.
2. Locate the navigation system unit (usually in the trunk compartment).
3. Push the button or slide it first, then your old dvd nav disc will pop out.
4. Insert the new DVD update disc.
5. *IMPORTANT*. All these times, DO NOT TURN OFF YOUR CAR, At least keep the ignotion key to "On" position.
6. The Nav system will automatically update itself for about 1-2 minutes. The screen in the car will also remind you to keep the car On.
7. You're done! Congrats! Ready to be used. You can just toss away your old Nav disc, 'cause all the Lexus Nav system can only read the current version and newer, not older. So you have no use at all with the old dvd nav disc.
Done!
