Lexus phone recalled

The Lexus "Smart" phone is apparently less smart than Lexus had hoped. It was recelled for poor performance, apparently due to complaints that Sprint service was not widely available. The phone was originally designed to work only on Sprint PCS.
I ordered the phone because it ties in to the Navigation system (you can call POI directly etc.) and it has voice commands that control not just the phone, but also the navigation system. Sounds great. Now if only they were available. My phone was recalled about two days before I was scheduled to pick up the car.
Anyone have any experience with this phone, or with a dealer who knows something about when it might become available?

My phone is Crazy
I was riding down the interstate in my 92 SC and the phone which has never been activated starts ringing??
I am like what the Hell??
I answer and some foreign voice is talking all kinds stuff. And when I make a reply he stopped talking for a second and then he started again for a few seconds and then he hung up. It was crazy!! He was talking very fast and sounded mad when he heard me on the other end.
I don't know what happened. Maybe foreign spy's are using the old Cellular band? Who knows!!
Definately crazy, Maybe I should call the NSA.
