Ok my Lex only has a tape player that doesnt work and the radio doesnt even work as well so I need to upgrade but was wondering what you guys have for stereo setups. Can I throw in an aftermarket sub in the stock location? What about Head Units? Will any one work? Decent speakers that arent too pricey??? Thanks!

 

i started out on the same page as you

but i ended up buying a pioneer 7700 HU with a dashkit from sfxaudio.com that took forever to find, rewiring the speakers, replacing everything with eclipse speakers, cutting the boxes to fit
5 1/4's in the rear and 6 1/2s in the front, taking out the stock sub and just putting a 12 in the trunk with a 6 channel eclipse amp

it sounds amazing now
