I just got back from vaca guys. I am trying to catch up. I should be all set by tomm.
Adam(Patsfan) is trying to get into the shop this week so we can see how these SAVV cameras work then I will decide if I want to see them. If they work good I will ship them out immediatley. I will keep you guys posted.
Welp we put the camera in and without doing some mods to his trunk bar there is still tunnel vision so I am a little upset but the quality of the camera is great, the picture looks awesome. I think in order to make it a full pic you must have to shave the hole or make the hole bigger in the trunk bar??
I will be doing some research into this topic but in regards to the camera I am very happy with the quality of the picture.

Sounds good. Now how do I get my hands one one..Im prolly third in line..
Camera quality is amazing. Looks really cool while driving and looks nice on the screen of the D1 where it does split screen with the camera and the nav map.
Night time, the camera stays in color and surprisingly you can still see a lot, and very good quality. The only drawback, which is obvious, and I assume happens to all camera, is the headlights at night, and if the car behind you gets close enough, the screen just gets taken up by the light from the headlights.
The reverse wire has yet to be installed, so I can't update on that.
In terms of the tunnel vision, it needs to be fixed in some way because you lose 1/3 of your picture with the circle and you lose all of the peripheral vision of the camera, which is one of the benefits of these cameras. Especially when using it to backup.
Also, it rained out this morning on my drive to work and the water somewhat filled the gap between camera lens and keyhole frame and took up more of the picture.
I will update with some pictures tonight so you all can get an idea.
Thanks for the update guys. I would really like to see a pic of just how much the tunnel vision takes up on the screen. If it isnt too bad then I would be tempted to buy it now. So as it stands now the viable solution to clear up the tunnel vision is to take the trunkbar off and make the hole a little bigger?
