Here is a step by step instruction to remove and replace the factory speakers, 4" to 5.5" Polk Audio Component.

also, the factory speakers are 2ohms rating, aftermarket are 4ohms ==> less power to the speakers, but still make very good sound

here are the bolts on the door that you need to remove
4 bolts at the bottom of the door

Default 1 more bolt around there

nm

After remove ALL the bolts, you can pull it out, very easy, if you need to force it out, you are missing a bolt somewhere

just use a flat screw driver and pull the plastic out

I cut the hole w a hot soldering gun, just melt the plastic =) not pretty, but it works fine, and i can clean it up after

new speaker installed with house sealand around to keep air tight for the encloser

final product =) , now a 50k car will sound like a 50k car That's all I can say. even with factory system

double sided tape for the crossover, and zip tide it down

that's it folks, i also did the transmission cooler also, but some one already posted the pix for it =) very helpful, thanks whitediamond
