hello all, this is my first post and i hope all goes well:-) i want to ask if anyone could help me with a small wiring issue. the day i got my alpine iva-d300 installed the power kicked totally out on it. i called the shop that installed it, very good guys too btw, and they said bring it in and we will fix it. when they got all done they called me and told me that the memory wire lost power and thats why the radio turned off, so since it is, well i think it is, a constant 12v wire they spliced the wire into another constant 12 in my steering column. now the radio works just fine, the only thing is that it worrys me that something might have gone out in my without me knowing about it. i guess after all this my question is could anyone maybe tell me what could have caused that wire to fail in the car wiring harness and if someone knows how i can fix it. thanx for your help, and sorry for the long post:-D
