Default add 2 amps

i bought my sc400 with no amp for the nak system which has a 5 channel amp powering speakers and subs.
i have a power wire, rca's, line output converter from factory nak unit, a 4 channel amp and a 1 channel amp. nothing is installed yet.
i could use some help and suggestions as to what i can do to get my system to finally work.
some questions i have are:
1-will i need a second power wire, rca, loc, to power the second amp or can i make both work from what i have?
2-i looked at the diagram from nak hak and see there are a shizload of wires that would most likely not be pluggin in to the amp... what happens here?
any help would be appreciated and yep i searched for hours. thanks.

You already got RCAs done from the line out of the HU?

So that takes care of all of the speaker wires coming from the HU - so the leftover wires are power/ground wires - maybe a seperate ACC wire and an AMP wire, right?

You can use the "AMP" wire as the turn-on lead I believe.

You will want to run your old power/ground wires so you can forget those stock ones. Anything else leftover?

I still haven't gotten around to installing mine but I would be doing the same thing as you with one 5-channel amp instead of 2 seperate ones.

Oh try it without any LLCs or LOCs and see how it sounds. You might not need any since the output should already be a low level signal that your amp should be able to use.

To run 2 amps off one cable going to the battery, all you will need is a "Power distribution block" . They're cheap and split the power line evenly among the amps

Does the first amp in the series not have a line out?

Well I assume you'll have the 4 channel amp 1st in the series. What kind of outputs does it have? It might already have a pre-amp out that you would just run to your second 1 channel amp. That way they are both getting the same unfiltered line signal from your headunit.

Otherwise you would have to split off one of the headunit's RCAs with an RCA splitter.
