Default Alpine 9835 Crossover/EQ setup

Ok, i just got the Alpine 9835 and need help configuring my system for optimal performance.

Here's my setup

Alpine 9835
Rockford fosgate 400a4
MB quart components up front
MB quart components in rear
Subs were just recently sold going to upgrade

First off, what should i set my amp cross over to. LP HP or Full.
right now i have it set as front HP rear Full.

next, since my speakers are components should i even use the internal crossover since they have there own cross overs. even with there own cross over it seems like my mid range speakers are still distorting above 23 of 35 volume.

If i use the internal cross over can somebody give me some numbers to set my perimeter to like how wide and mhz and all that good stuff. i'm pretty new to the cross over stuff.

THANKS

The crossover points are mainly up to the listeners ears and the music u listen to, IMHO but you should defenitley play with the time correction feature. I have Alpine and love all the options to setup the soundstge especially the time correction feature.

Do not use the internal crossover in the alpine if you are using the crossover on your amp and also the components. Set your amp for the component set at full. Then move to the crossover for your front component set and start tweaking.
