Default SC300 Questions?

I have a few questions regarding my car and a new system. The car is a 97 SC300. The owner before me replaced the stock amp for the sub with an alpine and the sub with a rockford. He also changed out the speakers with Bazooka. I want to replace the sub with a JL free air and also the speakers with Infinity and I wanted to change the amp to the Alpine that is like 50x4 and 200x1. My first question is how would this all be wired up??? There is no external amp for the speakers as there is for the sub right? Also I cannot find any 4" components that are any good, can anyone recommend something? I also want to add some sound dampening to the rear deck around the sub, has anyone had any experiences with any particular "packages". I was thinking of using the dynomat door kit because the size should be relative to that of the rear deck. Any suggestions???

if you're going to replace the amp, just wire it up opposite the way you removed everything.

you said the original owner had speakers replaced, i'm sure he had them powered by the amp you mentioned in the original post.

if you dont' want 4" speakers, upgrade to 5.25 or 6.5 with a little modification. it's somewhere on top of this forum.

if you want to add dampening, just use dynamat, or something similar.

It was my understanding that just the sub ran off the factory amp. He only replaced the speakers, I thought they are still running from the head unit.

The main speaker amp is located under the CD changer area on the right side of the trunk I believe.
