i am using a 600w pioneer amp to power all my after market speakers, but dont have a sub. Can i use the stock 8 inch sub and hook it up to my aftermarket amp? because i think i dont need that much for my speakers because its real loud but no thump.

yes you can, if your dedicated sub amp is stable to whatever ohm the stock sub is (i dont have an SC300 so i wouldn't know). the stock subwoofer is just like any other subwoofer out there. It has a positive and negative terminal. It's just a matter of what amp you use.

 

how many ohms is the the stock sub?
my amp is a four channel. iam thinking just connect the positive and negative to the amp, but will the sub be able to handle the power.

 

how many speakers do you plan to power?

you can check the ohm of the sub by looking at the bottome of the sub. It should say it.


I dont know if your sub will handle the power of your amp because 4-channel amps can range with different power. What amp do you have?

 

i allready have my speakers setup, i just wanted to use my stock sub with my aftermarket amp. i think it is the pioneer sub.
