Default Installation question on installing LED on each door

I have a question on installing LED's on each door. I have an rx300 and frequent the forum at least 3 times a day. My question is that I saw some GS400 with a strip of LED lights on the side panel. No, they're not streetglows, but 5 individual LED equally balanced. My question is, for each door light, how do I know which wire to tap? There's only two wires so I tap both but don't know which is positive. How do I find out?
Much appreciated.

Use a multi meter or test light. Not hard just need the proper tools.

You can just tap the wires into your inside door panels so that everytime you open the door, all 5 LEDs turn on too.

You know that's what they are for right? Illuminate your entrance point as you open the door. Brabus did it first for the Benz, and then autocouture makes a kit eventually for them.

Thanks,
I know I need a test light or meter, but what does it mean when I get 12 +volt? that's the positive? Also, should I change the fuse and I'm drawing a little more current?

Yes 12 volts will be pos as long as your hooked up right. If your using led lights there is no need for a bigger fuse due to low current draw.
