Hello, its my first time posting here. I am helping a friend install an amp and a sub to his 2001 IS 300 and was wondering if it needs some type of adapter for the rca outputs and if so where is the cheapest place to find them. Thanks

anyway, i did a quick search for you. there are lots of discussions on this subject.

i have JL sub and amp hooked up to the factory system by tapping signal from the factory subwoofer which is standard on the SportCross (IS300 wagon).

many tap the rear speakers for signal and run it through a Line Output Converter.
