I was installing my aftermarket deck Clarion double din deck, I have a Toyota harness for 87+ to install the deck when i got it ready to installed I hooked up the two connectors that would accept the harnes but no power would come on in the deck. The deck does work but it seems as if something it missing anyone have sucess in instaling a after market deck to there sc? Please help

it didnt work because the the harness that you had plugged into the wrong connectors... You need to deal with PLUG A....

 

which one would that be ? Excuse my stupidity

 

the big one on top, if you are looking at the back of your stock deck, it is the one that plugs in the highest up... go here http://www.intellexual.net/faq/lexusstereo.swf

 

Thanks for the help, I also have another question, If I want to use my stock speakers with the aftermarket unit will that work, or will I have to get another harness?

I have the same problem too the instructions on Intellextual is for the pioneer system..do the nackamichi have the same plugs and diagram. I need to hook up my cd player!
