Default Double Din indash

so i have a 1999 lexus gs 300 and im thinking of installing a double din touchscreen indash... i was wondering what kind of wireing harness do i need in order to get it installed. i was told that there is a special harness that i need. and if i dont use that specialharness then i cause trick something or make something else malfunction HELP PLEASE!!!

You can use a Toyota 87-UP radio harness to supply power to the headunit.

ok so i can use just the standard wires with the different colors to match wires... its not gonna mess anything else up is it electrically is it?

as long as you get the right harness you should be fine.

i suggest you doing a search on the forums.

theres plenty of people (including myself) that have done this install.
