Is anyone here familiar with the amp from the JDM Soarer. I purchased a used in dash CD and new amp from a JDM Soarer and it works great other than the amp is much larger than the factory Pioneer unit. Does anyone know the power or the exact difference between the two amps. Everything plugs in exactly the same but the JDM amp and headunit are made by Panasonic instead of Pioneer. The only problem I am having is that there is so much more distortion at high volume with this new setup. It seems like the old amp had some sort of crossover built in to filter low freq's from the mids and now the mids are trying to produce deep bass with the sub and distoring badly. Any suggestions on how to correct this.

Also the sub seems to stop working when the volume is turned past 12' oclock position. It hits good at low volume but when the sound is turned up the mids/ highs get louder but the sub stays the same.
