Hey guys,

I am in the process of installing the Defi control unit for my boost gauge and the manual says to tap 4 wires (normal power, ignition ON power, illumination, and ground) and I figured the best place to put this control unit is through the ashtray. This is because the ashtray already has its own power wire and illumination wire and I am *assuming* ground.

Now I took apart the ashtray today and saw that there are indeed 4 wires connected to it. However, I am at a loss as to what wire does what. Does anyone have any idea?

Get a test light and test them....constant, switched, ground, etc..

Thats the only good way to do it.
