does anyone knoe the length of the power and ground wires
planning to re wire n wanna knoe how the length of each wire

 

Are you talking about main power and ground for engine? I'm about to do mine and the ground is fairly short. The main power to the alt is very long and goes under the motor on the subframe. There is also another power wire that goes to the starter.

 

Yes sir the main power and yea the round seems short but is there also a ground from the engine to chassis?
what wire gauge size you plan to use?

 

I have a 200amp alt and big stereo so I'm using high quality 4ga for all the power and ground and may run 1/0 from alt to batt. I'll also be making several engine to chassis wires.

 

Yea i would say juss run the 1/0 thats the wire i plan to use im juss waiting on some ring terminals to start this project should be in by tommorow

 

4ga is plenty big enough for the length and amperage of most. That long alt wire plus the high amperage worries me. I did 4ga on my Jeep from alt to batt but it was only 2ft and 180amp.
