Default Installing a Haltech Piggyback I have a Power Wire question

Well the car is going in 2morrow for tuning I'm wondering if I should connect the power wire to a constant runing power source ( meaning runing when the car is off ) or should I connect it to a wire that has no juice when the car is off.?

Let me know I need to tune at 9am PCT. Also let me know which wire to splice into if you know that way we dont spend time messing around . TY

PS its a GS430 I dont think it makes a diffrents but just in case.

If you have it on constant will it not run down your battery when the car is parked?
