What is New in 2003 Navgation Update?
I have a 2002 GS 300 running the 2001 navagation disc.
The 2003 disc is now out, and I was wondering if anybody knew how to find out what areas are updated?
I asked my dealer, but they didn't know.
Anybody know of a source online.

Funny you should ask...Yesterday I just upgraded from the 02 to the 03 DVD. One thing I noticed right away...Right behind my home is a new development that used to be completely wooded. They cut new roads through and built houses.....On the '02 DVD, the new roads were not shown on the map. The new one reflects the new roads. So clearly, map updates are included. Also, the number of points of interest has been increased from around 2 million to 5 million. This is according to both a dealer, as well as the lexus-parts.com website (which is where I purchased the upgrade).
Someone else on this forum commented at one point that some routing errors in their neighborhood had been corrected as well.
