Question Alpine Cda-7995

anyone have any experience at all with this unit (ALPINE CDA-7995)? i'm going to install it in my 1993 LS400. TIPS? SUGGESTIONS? i'll be ordering the dash kit from SFXAUDIO.com.

Nice preamp deck with 3 sets of 4-V outputs, Media Xpander, time correction, crossover settings. Nothing out of the ordinary with wiring it up. Just have a nice aftermarket amp to fully appreciate the quality.

FYI, there was a recall on the first 7998s from Alpine. Make sure you didn't get one of those. Some symptoms include not keeping the MX and time correction settings.

im thinking about getting this as well. however..

if i get it, since it has no internal amp, does that mean i have to get an amp for the front/tweeters and the back speakers. making that 3 amps which i would need.. since i have an amp for my subs as well
