Default what a night

so im driving... on my way to go play some ball... im sitting at a light... chillin.. got my windows down.. bumpin my tunes... the wind gently brushes against my face.... whats that i smell.. sniff sniff.. smells like gas... i think to myself, its aight... just running a little rich... (rich=running a little more fuel than normal)... the odor starts to get stronger... dayum.. its running REALLY rich.... im about to make a right... and i notice the idle feels a little weird... i try to accelerate and the car boggs and doesn't want to move... i accelerate a little harder and make the turn... 10 feet later... the car doesn't want to move anymore.... the car dies right there on peachtree in a 2 lane road with no shoulder... ****! i get out to examine the car... low and behold, my car is sitting in a puddle of fuel.... its just dripping away.... one flick of a cigarette in my direction and BOOM! luckily a 50 was a few seconds away... pulls up and turns on his lights... he was actually really cool about everything and stayed with me until AAA showed up.... got my car towed to a friends shop... we'll see how bad the damage is tomorrow morning... got my fingers crossed... dayum... what a night....

Something very similar happened to me. It ended up being a very easy fix...this is what I did:

1. DISCONNECT BATTERY - wait 5 minutes. You do not want any electrical charges.
1. Remove the "***" portion of the back seats. It's very easy, just yank it out and it disconnects.
2. On the driver side of the backseat, you will see a cover with three black screws (I think they're black, can't remember...but you will see it). Take them out and remove the cover.
3. Upon removing the cover you will see a black plug in the center. Make sure it is pushed in completely. Sometimes it will pop out and it will cause gas to leak under the car...a large amount will just pour out.

Make sure it's secure and pushed in all the way. If it is, then you have have eliminated one possible problem.

If it's not the problem, you should try to get a general idea of where it is leaking.

Let me know if this helps! It's happened to me twice and I now have a clamp to prevent to plug from popping out.

Glad it was just the T fitting Dan, but that could have been worse, alot worse with all that fuel. Luckly you were at a stop light instead of being on a hwy just driving without being aware. That's why when I had my n2o set up, I didn't use the T-fitting. Instead I had my fuel rail tapped and used steel braided fuel line. No fuel leak possibility there. Be safe and enjoy.

I still claim that I did it correctly.
You just looked at it with those curry eyes of yours. Too clouded Chicken Tikka Masala.
