Based on exterior looks and body lines, which do you prefer? The looks of the coupe or the convertible and your reasons why? Also, what made you choose a specific exterior/interior color? Pics are more than welcomed and encouraged!
as for vert vs coupe looks, few will be surprised here that i prefer the coupe exterior looks. the convertible looks great with the top down but to me, like most soft top convertibles, it doesn't look great with the top up. the top is shortened compared to the coupe (so the roof can be stowed).

I see your point, but there's just something to that flat rear of the convertible that is extremely pleasing to the eye IMO.

I agree. The convertible looks great with the top down but not as good as the coupe with the top up.
I’m not an LC 500 owner, but I prefer the look of the coupe/hardtop. The convertible just looks funny with the top up, in my opinion. I like how the hardtop has a nice sloping roofline, but the convertible doesn’t have that and it ruins the flow. The way I feel about the LC 500 convertible is the same way I feel about most, if not all modern cars with a soft top. I think only classic cars look good with a soft top, like the late 50’s to mid 60’s Chevrolet Impalas. I think hardtop convertibles look better on modern cars. A hardtop convertible LC 500 would be the PERFECT car.

Interesting question, even more so once you get past the simple Aesthetic angle of I just prefer This one and get into the WHY things are as they are.
One interetsting point I saw on a YouTube applies much more to the Coupe over the Vert and that is the many various different materials and textures in the body of the LC. There's less of that IMO with the Vert top. And, with reason.
IMO, the main objective of the Coupe top is to look good. And maybe to not crush the occupants in a rollover. Lack of wind noise probably enters in there some also. Not a lot of other objectives to have to hit there.
Not so with the Vert top. Yes, it still needs to look good but it also needs that same quiteness at speed, which is probably harder to attain than with the Coupe. It also needs to not leak, again, not so much a Coupe issue. Now the real Vert kickers, it has to be Totally Reliable, still stowable in the LCs limited trunk area and the soft top also needs to be nearly durable as the hard top. I see these 3 as substantual "gotchas" Vs the Coupe. It's a lot bigger issue with a customer when their soft top locks up half way down or shows the soft material wearing very fast Vs them saying, You know, I think the Couple Looks Better than my Vert.
Making a Vert top Look As Good as the Coupe, still be structually as sound, reliable, durable, quiet and waterproof as the Coupe is a tall order. IMO, there are compromises that need to happen with the Vert top to make all this happen or come close to happening.

I owned the coupe for 2 years and agree it looks better than convertible with top up. I traded the coupe in for the convertible because I prefer open air driving. With the top down the convertible is every bit as good looking as the coupe. It works for me because 95% of my driving with the lc is top down. Just put my winter tires on and with heated seats and neck scarf am plenty warm with Temps down to high 30s. In lower New England I drive top down year round.

I almost never even PUT my top up here in AZ--only in the blistering summer!
I looked at both the Coupe and the Vert and I chose the Coupe because I loved the lines and my most recent car was a vert, (Mercedes C300) and just felt like a change was in order. Plus, having a closed space for my golf clubs was essential, even if I need to do a bit of club pulling and arranging to do so. I My '23 Coupe is (at last update) is sitting in the KC rail yard (having made it's way over from Portland) waiting for processing and transport to Lexus of Wichita, and the wait is killing me.
the car was designed as a coupe, and adapted to be a 'vert.
inferring anyone's economic worth from these discussions is nonsense,
as evidently any idiot can buy one.
