The service interval for the LC 500 is every 6 months or every 5,000 miles, whichever is first. I put less than 5,000 miles on my car in a 12 month period (frequently less than 3,000 miles). My closest dealership is 115 miles round trip. I just had my first 6 month service, at my request, because the dealership said I didn't need it until I hit 5,000 miles and I only had 1,200 miles on the car.
So....I'm thinking about having it serviced once per year (assuming less than 5,000 miles accrued for that year). I'm interested in other's thoughts regarding this strategy. Thanks in advance.
Bit, MLM,
Are either of you concerned about warranty issues? I was thinking of using a 5,000 miles or 1 year, whichever is first, service interval. Is that what you guys are doing? Thanks.

I am doing one-year no matter the mileage—seems fair.
First year I put 6,000 miles on her.
9 months into my 2nd year I’ve only added 1,400 miles to that total…
Not the mechanical answer but the financial aspect, Lexus warrantee pays for both the 6 month and 12 month
Service Visits with a 6 month expiration limit. When the low mileage guest arrives after 18 months from Date of
First Use Lexus will reject the claim and the cost of the LOF, tire rotation and myriad other checks will fall to the
guest. Some but not all Dealers will look into the history of the guests other sales and service and decide to
eat the expense but officially its not reimbursed.
