These exist????

I searched high and low for options on my LC when I bought it can couldn't find such a thing. My guys who did my ceramic coating and clear-bra said it didn't exist for windshields!

As I've mentioned before, I rented a C7 Vette for a weekend before deciding to get the LC instead.

The Vette seats, ingress/egress Were a major issue. (The deal breaker was the front spoiler sacrificial edge scraping Every time up the driveway.)

The seat bolsters are supposidly crap and wear excessively. There are YouTube vids of the "Correct" was to get in and out of a Vette. That
basically involves as little movement Across the seat bolsters as is possible.

B.... Getting in & out of my driveway is a major problem for me too. However, the LC will make it as long as I am turning wheels on approach so that I am raising level of front end one wheel at a time. I would love to install the ground effect kits. Love the aggressive look. But can't do it without also installing some kinda air suspension kit.

I have clear plex installed on my LC for 2 years now. Also have it on my 911 for 5 years. You don't notice it at all and easy to clean with window cleaner and microfiber towel. Protection is great but the only problem is wipers may scratch it. I use my cars year round but only for pleasure and don't drive them in rain or snow so not a problem for me. Both cars are fully covered with x-pel and keeps them looking brand new.

Ive never and will never drive my LC in the rain. I don’t even know if my wipers even operate!

100...You can definitely do that when you have options! But its hard for me to understand why anyone would make an LC their primary mode of transportation. This car was not built for that! It has entirely too many deficiencies to be a daily driver. So why buy this car if you need to treat it like a truck.

My LC 500 Convertible is my only vehicle.

I work from home, though.

Same here I have only my LC500 and that is my only car. As long as you have back seats and decent boot space, it can work. For carrying bulky items which happens maybe a couple times a year I can hire someone to deliver it for me. I live in a big city so perhaps my circumstances are different from others though

Update for all:

Windshield... $2600 to replace the windshield at Lexus dealership. Im just going to pay for it up front and my insurance will then reimburse me the full cost minus the deductible.

Leather.. From the advice here, I took it to two nice upholstery shops... It cannot be fixed to any degree of confidence. They said the dye job the dealership did was really good but the leather is too creased and worn for as thin as it is, they are afraid to shave it then re-dye it, it would wear much sooner.
They suggested live with it or replace it.

I have ordered a new upper skin for the seat.. $2400 parts and labor to replace.. I have pulled the trigger on this too and will get them both done at the same time.

A lot of money for sure but I would like the seat to wear somewhat evenly over time rather than the upper part being so broken down so quickly.

Rough lol.

Don’t know anything bout custom seat repair ( never had to do it), but WOW, that sounds like alot. Just glad you are blessed to be able to return car to your standards. Hopefully you will not be disappointed with repair. Congrats & Enjoy!

Regarding the windshield PF, it may require a recalibration of the ADAS.

Is this based on first hand experience? It didn’t cause any issues in my case. Been using it for over 2 years now.
