My responses in blue!
  • INSTALLED
    • LC500H Differential (I have a table of all the PNs involved that I will have verified during installation of all the washers, seals, etc. - the thread only covers the diff unit, which frustrated me)
Can you please share the final table of PN’s and total cost. Any additional tips to avoid the frustration you went through would be much appreciated.
Can do Once the install is completed Monday, hopefully
  •
    • Improved Bracing - There were some bracing improvements made in 2025 that have very little community traffic and the parts are, from what I can see, way too expensive for the benefit. Instead, I am bending the OEM rule slightly to accommodate the use of Tom's Stiffening kit, which only cost $2500 shipped (https://www.blackhawkjapan.com/produ...m&_ss=e&_v=1.0) and should provide essentially identical results.
do you have the PN’s for the OEM bracings? I might be lucky to find them somewhere for good price.
I do not - there were quite a few and I was not capable of identifying them myself
  • TBD
    • Yamaha Performance Damper - Trying to nail down which dash number to buy, since there are -1 through -9 and the instructions for each are essentially identical.
Email RHD Japan your VIN#, they might be able to confirm the one that will fit your car. They might be all the same, just different batches. The only thing i know for sure is that the convertible dampers got different part number.
Will try this!
  •
    • Transmission Cooler - Japan market vehicles and seemingly a subset of 2024 special edition LC's (might) have received improved transmission cooling. There is one guy in this thread that has done, but like almost every project here no parts list was provided (TRANSMISSION COOLER LINK)

I live in extremely hot area and never got a message that my LC transmission is overheated even when I push it to the max during street driving. Do you think this upgrade worth it for someone who won’t track the car? + i think it will have long list of PN’s to change.
Some US drivers have reported it overheating from canyon driving here - realistically most of us will never need it. I intend to do it just to complete my "LCF" build, but it is low priority compared to the other projects.
  •
    • 2025 Door Striker - New LCs have a potentially improved Door striker for improved rigidity in the weakest part of the vehicle (PN 69410-11010). This is a very new subject, so I am just keeping an eye on it for the time being (2024 DOOR STRIKER LINK)
Now this one got my attention the most from the whole list, I wonder if it will solve the body knocking issue that early builds have. I always felt that it come from the door itself/B pillar area. I wonder if Lexus mentioned this upgrade specifically to improve rigidity or is it only a different part number/design due to changing of suppliers
The part itself appears to be beefier and perhaps anodized - the latter doesn't really do anything for rigidity but the former might. Too early to tell yet.

Thanks for the helpful feedback!

I might do the door striker soon if I am able to get the parts easily, i guess it will not cost much and easy install.

Good luck with the new differential test drive on Monday!

North 1 Heard nothing but good with easy install on this bullet guard. I will be going with this in the spring when Magoo comes out of a winter nap.

You could try the Sliplo brand, it's what I used (been installed for over a year with no issues). Not as seamless, but didn't require drilling and was quickly installed plus less expensive.

I will check this out - the first thing I did after the kit was installed was scrape the front! Thanks!

Before i bought these dampers i found some posts in Japanese websites and it worked smoothly for them. I remember one of the posts mentioned that on the rear side you can use BOTH oem and TRD dampers all at the same time! Does that sound doable based on what you have gone through?
Can you show a wider picture of how visible the brace is through the front bumper please?
