Does the seat belt hurt your neck?
I just purchased a slightly used 2019 LC 500 yesterday and I'm already finding that the seat belt hurts my neck more than other cars. I have never considered purchasing one of those seat belt covers/cushions, but was curious if anyone else has? I'd obviously want something that looks simple and sleek.

Yeah, maybe I need to play around with my seat adjustments. The seat belt seems to cross right near my shirt's neckline. I've been pulling the neckline up to have a barrier between me and the belt.

Something we don't think about but seatbelts have pretty much been the same for eternity. They're sharp and hard. There's probably a variety of reasons for that, including convenience. Compatibility with clothes, etc. I know Volvo, Mercedes have been experimenting with different designs for over a decade but nothing has really made it to market that I know of. Including seatbelts with inflatable airbags. Seatbelts leave some nasty rashes cause they cut into you in a crash due to how sharp and narrow they are. So if your seatbelt is cutting into your neck sitting still, imagine applying 4-5 Gs to it. Adjust it!
How can I adjust the seat belt in this car other than feeding it through the loop on the seat back? I don't see a way to slide it up/down like in most cars. I've only had the car for a couple of days. I tried moving my seat more forward to see if that helps the positioning and it did help some but not completely. Like I said, I've never had this happen in a car (including other recent model year Lexus').
I never faced this issue, but if you do, your options are limited to:
1- raising the seat up
2- go to an upholstery shop to move the guide a little bit down from its current position
3- get the padded cushion
4- sell the car…jk
Btw, what is your height if you don’t mind me asking?
