Default Question about infotainment and apple CarPlay

I have a question for owners who use Apple CarPlay.
How annoying is it when you’re using Navigation via apple CarPlay and say you have to adjust the seat warmers or temperature?
Do you have to exit to the main menu and go back into CarPlay afterwards? It’s the one thing that keeps pushing me towards a Porsche

You have to jump back and forth from the menus as you describe. Only way I'm aware of doing what you describe.

As many others have mentioned on this forum, why don't you just set the concierge to the temperature you prefer and don't touch a thing from then on? It is truly a 'set and forget' feature. It will adjust depending on interior temperatures and conditions in both the cold and hot days. It even handles the steering wheel heater. That way the only thing you will need to adjust is the temperature change button on the dash and adjust up or down.

Agree with the post above. I originally thought the concierge was a gimmick but it works really well and i have grown t like it a lot.

Pressing menu will take you back to Lexus ui. Pressing menu again allows you to pull up ACP (you need to select it from the bottom). But yeah. You have all the HVAC buttons minus the seat/steering.

Agree with above. Climate concierge and adjust the temp accordingly

Yes It works just fine. Knows if top is up or down roo.

But there are some folks out there who are conditioned to fiddle with their temp and other settings as a part of their day. They will be disappointed with the LC. Just like folks who want to mess with their phones while driving. For an LC and so many modern cars you just put the phone away and the car tskes over those functions. Not perfect but getting a lot better.

you can certainly adjust climate temp without exiting CarPlay as there's left/right toggle switches on the dash

as for seat warmer settings, as has been said, concierge is the way to go.

Completely agree. I NEVER touch steering wheel or seat warmers settings. The concierge works perfectly. Many reviewers don't like it because of no hard buttons. The designers knew what they were doing.
