so it's september in 2 weeks. normally new model year lexus' come out in what, november/december? so to me, it makes no sense to get a '22 unless your car will be yours in less than 30 days.

of course, as far as we know there may not be a '23 or the '23 may be identical.

Wow that's rough. I would get paranoid too if I don't hear from the dealer in almost a year, I would expect these to get to the production line 2-3 months after ordering.

Just got a call yesterday, saying that the car is being built and will be ready in 2-3 weeks and should have it in about a month. Took roughly 10 months to get it.

that’s great to hear, congratulations! So is it still a 2022 model or 2023?(even though there’s virtually no difference)

Ordered on 1/5/2022, got a call 2 days ago saying I should have it in 2-4 weeks now. It will still come as a 2022.

If it's still at the factory, you'r looking at at least 3 wks still, in my experience. These are the longest 3 weeks you'll ever have.

Again…not in today’s car market.

The past is the past….things are most likely going to be very different post-covid when buying new vehicles.

I don’t believe many things are ever going to back to the old ways…

agreed, i think manufacturers don't want loads of inventory sitting at dealers which ultimately lowers selling prices and requires manufacturers to give dealer and consumer more incentives to sell them (lowering profits).
