Lexus announced roadmap for 100% EV today
I think change is definitely coming but gas stations will be scarce by 2050 not 2030.
I’m still considering LC500 but that would mean getting rid of my M3. I drove it on Sunday and still love the car, need more garage space!! Lexus not offering a nice blue is not helping.
Also have deposit down on C8 Z06 as the other V8 option.
So where are all the millions of used cars, trucks, suvs going to fill up lol

The Nightfall Blue is too dark. Although I wouldn't mind an Infrared but dealers are not taking any new orders.
There is a '18 certified structural blue but they want 94K and has 3 previous owners.
This electrification talk and predictions from car manufacturers is all virtue signaling. That’s it. We’re nowhere near the kind of infrastructure required for the nonsense they’re spouting. Just as an example, look what happened to Texas’s power grid last winter in that stupid storm. It couldn’t handle it because they’ve added too much nonsensical wind and solar power which only works under optimum conditions. Imagine what would have happened if even 50% of vehicles had been all electric. The grid would still be down with everyone trying to charge their cars. 😂
And as someone already mentioned, what about the 90% of the population driving gas powered vehicles that will never be able to afford a new electric vehicle(or used for that matter)? The death of gas powered vehicles has been greatly exaggerated. These predictions about electrification are about as accurate as predictions regarding rising ocean levels and melting ice caps have been over the last 20 years.

I am happy to see Lexus and Toyota jump into the EV party. Like it or not, it is coming. The cars are easier to make (less time and labor) and Tesla created a roadmap that automakers have no choice but to follow if they want to exist in the future. Automakers have made their decisions to go all in. Glad to see Lexus step up. Some of the cars were a bit strange, but I liked much of what I saw in the announcement. I think the infrastructure will catch up. If we can clean up electricity generation then we will really make progress on this topic. I am not saying climate change is real, but it did snow ⛄️ in Cairo yesterday. Just saying…
