Default Car feels like it its pulling left or right when hard accelerating

Sometimes I notice that if I really give it the gas, the front end feels like it wants to slide out in either direction.

This tends to happen more on upward slopes.

Seattle is a bit wet right now but nothing too crazy. Is this just natural for this kind of engine? This is my first v8. I'm trying to be respectful of what it can do and get acclimated to the quirks.

How many miles and what is the condition of the tires?
Have you ever knocked the rear wheels against a curb or pothole?

If your symptoms are more than just fun power oversteer it may be that
your rear suspension needs an alignment. When the car squats down
under hard acceleration it may be "toeing out or in" which would cause
the darting you mentioned.

car is brand new 120 miles. Never hit a pot hole. 2021 convertible. No damage to tires. Michelline run flats. maybe just not well suited to the slight "wet" roads in seattle?

also looked up something called torque steer which is more common on FWD... perhaps I just have slight angle on my steering grip and wheels were not exactly straight ?

Definitely not torque steer, but you're probably spinning the rear tires on wet roads making the back step out a bit, thus pointing the front in a different direction. This is called "FUN"

The LC has a 20Gal fuel. Bigger than all the F cars including the GSF of 17Gal. If you’re getting 120miles on the LC tank, that must mean you’re WOT all the time.
As a brand new vehicle, I’m not sure it’s wise to do that without proper break in.
It’s your car, not mine. But I certainly wouldn’t treat any new vehicle like that.

Hahaha. Okay. Carry on then.
I must be getting old and hanging around Bimmerpost too much.

Haha.
I was surprised to see 120miles stated on the vehicle and a full tank of gas emptied. Again. It’s your car. Carry on.
As for the steering pull, the rear wheels are probably not putting down all the power to the ground as stated in the above post.

Yes it's the backend coming loose. With the current cool weather, (I have snows on to) and the fact that I think lexus has a really crappy traction control (I guess good for sports cars, not so good good for suv's). That you are having some fun.

Im getting the same results and I can tell you I'm not hard on the gas at all.

yeah that makes sense. even the traction control in my ES is a bit funky I just didn't notice it because the es300H is so sluggish.

I've gotten a bit more used to the power and have a better feel on how much gas I can give while its wet out.

Now i'm excited for summer

plus the ES is fwd (or even awd versions are heavily fwd biased) so the issues from lack of traction are different.
