We customized our LC 500 and put down a deposit on 10/21/22 for 2022 MY - before bespoke configurator released on Lexus (US) website.
We were initially told our order would arrive in about 4 months. Earlier today (6 weeks after placing our order) the general manager called us to let us know that Lexus had stopped accepting custom or bespoke orders until at least May 2022.
This is very confusing as the bespoke configurator for US market just released about 3 weeks ago.
We were told we have two options;
1- Dealer will try to secure/find an incoming allocation close to our custom order.
2- Dealer will hold our place in custom order line, and process our order when(if) Lexus starts accepting custom orders in May (or after).
Did anyone here with an active order received a similar update from their sales manager?
Is the dealer you currently work with accepting a new custom or bespoke order?
I will contact Lexus customer service tomorrow to get clarification on what is actually going on.
Any suggestion is greatly appreciated!

My local dealer told me they were not accepting any orders for 2022 but that was early November.

My experience has always been very poor trying to custom order any Lexus. Zero transparency and too many games. German brands and other premium brands provide a much better experience when you custom order.

2022LC500, appreciate your post and story, but let's keep that in the thread you've made for it here and not duplicate posts: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/lc-...-canceled.html
