My 2019 LC has less than 6000 miles and the brakes are squealing pretty bad. I've seen other posts on here complaining about noise and squealing and the TSB, but mine sound like they need to be replaced. The car hasn't been driven or braked hard, is it possible the brakes don't last that long? On my IS350 I needed new brakes around 18-20k miles. Surely the LC brakes aren't that worn?
Those of you who have replaced worn out brakes, how many miles did you get out of them?
Wash them every week religiously and they won’t make noise. 2021 with 16,000 and they only squeal if I’ve gone more than 2 weeks without washing the wheels thoroughly.

Squealing of brakes typically means you haven't used them very 'enthusiastically'.
exactly... squealing doesn't necessarily mean worn out... yes, modern pads do have 'wear indicators' meaning they scream not just squeal when they're truly toast, but typically just squealing means built up dust on the pads and as you say, an 'enthusiastic' couple of tromps on the brakes should improve things.
the LC brakes are monsters! should last a long time.

My brakes certainly sounded like the wear indicator.
If you see my other post I did track my LC a few days ago and I can say that since then the squealing is pretty much all gone.
My brakes were squealing really bad last couple of months. Have about 8k miles on my vert. When I went to get oil changed last month I had them check the brakes. They said Lexus has a service bulletin on the pads. I just got back from the dealer today and they replaced them under warranty. No squeak at all now Attached is the receipt in case you want to reference the parts and ask your dealer.
They squeal because of the composition of the brakes, made for track time more than daily driving (porsche, aston martin, etc even LS have the same problem). Same happened to me, I didn't like sounding like a freight train every time i came up on a stop light so I took it to the dealer (there is a service bulletin about it) and had the pads replace - all is quiet. call your dealer ...tip: dig up the service bulletin # for them.

Agreed, embarassing for any car but esp with 100k plus. I was hoping my picture showed the bulletin or info that helps others. Surprised more haven't commented on this issue.

Did your brake service reduce the Dusting Issue???
