Default Exhaust note

When you first start the car it has a deep note, like a bypass system. How can you keep that sound when you like?

There are many threads here concerning exhaust configuration, bypass valves, sound, etc. You might try utilizing the 'Advanced Search' feature on this Forum.

At the start the LC exhaust bypass valves are in the open (default) position. After the car cycles thru the start (first 10-20 seconds) the valves are closed. To get the same sound while driving you must be in Sport or Sport+ mode.

That’s for sure, it’s a great car with an even better sound. Let’s all keep stomping

true, but one thing i've realized about the LC is it takes FOREVER to warm up. the oil temp gauge isn't even visible for a few minutes and the rev limit doesn't get up to 7k for a few minutes either. maybe fortunately, it's 1.5mi. slow drive out of my community to the frot entrance from my house, so that gets it somewhat warmed up.

It’s been done, but looked pretty unfortunate, unless you really wanted a V8 Mustang.

Do whatever you want but this car comes in a very complete design, hard to change much without spoiling what the designers intended.

A lot of current cars have these sort of fake exhausts built into the design. All car designs are moving the directions of EVs, no open grills up front and no exhausts. Pretty much the opposite of our LCs.

If you find a solution you like, please show us some pics. There are several solutions on offer that are round, titanium, colored titanium, carbon fiber that I’ll seen in threads here.

The Facebook LC crowd are generally more into mods, I’ve seen all this there.
