Default 2018 lc

I am looking at 2 2018 LC's. 1 has 36k miles the other has 22k. The 36K is fully loaded with the Performance package the other same with out performance. Do you think the extra 14k miles will make a difference? The color is nightfall mica with red interior. pretty cool color. The other is Caviar.

thoughts?

What's the price difference?

14k miles on a Toyota is not much.

79k for the 36k miles 80k for 22k, so about grand. Does the performance package make that big of a difference?
Also are those prices good or high?

first off, all LCs are amazing. i'm biased though as i have the perf package and love the steering (RWS and VGRS)! having said that i never drove an LC without it, which everyone says is still awesome.
however the perf package also give you the CF roof and sills, LSD, and different suspension components.

have you driven both? did you notice any difference?

as for mileage, i think 22k or 36k is 'nothing', but obviously the 36k one is currently only 1k less because it has at least 5k worth of options extra (depending on what other one has).

as for color, i have caviar, but i would have loved to have had nightfall mica too.

14k miles is one year of driving for a lot of people. A year of driving is worth more then $1k.

it's not that simple because the trim/packages aren't the same.

14k miles on a lexus is nothing when they're designed to handle 200-300k with their eyes closed

According to Carfax they were both two owner cars both well maintained. They also show they are L- Certified, I would go for the blue mica with the red interior even though it has more mileage, you cannot beat that color combination especially with the performance package very rare combo.

The color combo is sweet ...the mileage is bugging me. Right now 2018 GS350 F sport only has 22k miles.

not sure what gs350 has to do with it, but it sounds like you value the lower mileage more than the performance package. your preference of course. as has been said, 36k mi. is nothing, esp in a state like texas where you can rack up cruising miles easily.

Your calc shows 36k model 'cost' $3300 more than 22k model but is listed for $1K more (due to higher mileage). I'm sure there's some negotiating room - if you could get the 36k model for same price as 22k model i'd say it's a no brainer to get the perf pkg one, but that's just me... if lower mileage more important to you, go for it.

I don't know if they're both at the same dealer, but if so this is the old situation of getting the buyer into choosing between one of 2 cars, not whether to buy one at all.

And for many (like it was for me) this is not easy to decide - it's a lot of money. I took about 6 months or more to pull the trigger on one.

I can concur with the rarity of that color combo (Nightfall Mica with red interior). It took me ages to find one - and finally got it back in 2018. Get what you truly want in color - u won't regret it.
