Default New LC owner.

Everyone,

thanks for helping me decide in getting a LC500. I started a thread a while ago about trading my Panamera in.

I’ve had this for about a 1.5months now and really enjoying the car.

Nice!

Congrats!

I think you’re the first yellow convertible owner on the forum!

My brother test-drove a new LC convertible yesterday and he said it is literally the nicest car he has ever driven.....better than the Panamera he owned.....MBZ S-Class......Ferrari Portofino.....He has been in mine but didn't drive it. He doesn't understand how they are only charging $112k for this fine automobile.....

He is looking for another fun car and has been eyeing an LC 'vert for months......hope he adds one to the stable!

Your brother wouldn't have to buy one if you let him drive yours!

Punch it and you can make it there in about 2 hours lol. I did notice these LC's don't have a speed governor on them. I got mine up to 160 and if I had more ***** would have tried top speed. Anyone know why some cars are speed limited and others not? My Benz would max at 136.

The LC500 has an electronic speed limiter (at least in the USA) of 168mph.

Damn sounds like I should have pushed it a little more. Isn't that the documented top speed? You think it would go faster without the limiter?

it’s a different driving experience with the top down to hear the NA V8. Definitely the seats are more comfortable. I initially thought I was going to regret the decision, but reading other members reviews helped the decision.

Can you explain how limiting the vehicle top speed helps the life span of the motor??? Doesn't really make sense to me . . . . . .
