I just picked up my 2021 LC 500 convertible on Friday, I bought the car they had on the showroom floor. I noticed when I got home that the back of my car doesn’t have the LC 500 on it, like I see on every other one I have seen. I like it that way, just curious as to why it’s not there.

Of course no badging. They slipped you a 2015 IS350c convertible with a new set of wheels and tires.

Congrats on car, but odd on no lc500 badge. Maybe came off somehow, or maybe the car was 'almost sold' before and that buyer wanted it debadged but the deal fell through for some reason.

 

Ask the dealer. They will get you taken care of at no cost.

 

If you do get it badged, consider going with black pearl badging, if available.

 

Or simply drive around incognito? Oh wait, it's an LC500.

 

Congrats on the purchase, but that is very odd. Don’t want to freak you out, but Check for indications of possible repair work.

Last but not least, call and ask your salesperson.

 

Badging or not.....Folks are still gonna ask you "What is That!" because they see so few of em out there!

 

Congrats on the LC. I would check for damage & repainting. Very strange the badge is missing. I have dealt with Sheehy, they are shady.

 

Was at the dealer today because I’m having issues with my driver seat. The manager explained the no LC 500 on it. A customer was going to buy the car and had protective film put on it, and ResistAll put on the car. He wanted the badging removed, the sell fell through so they put it in the show room. This is my 6th Lexus from them and they have treated me well so far. Dealer said they would put it on if I wanted it and I told them I like it the way it is, now fix my damn seat.

 

sounds like your scored and they must have done a very good job on the ppf since you didn’t see it.
